Breakfast at Bank Street

Made with care, sourced with intention, served with a surprise or two

Why our Breakfasts are Special

Mornings at Bank Street B&B start the way we think every morning should — with something worth getting out of bed for. We’re not going to give away the whole menu (where’s the fun in that?), but expect a table full:

locally sourced ingredients

healthy staples to keep you fueled for the day

at least one scrumptious surprise

something refreshing that doesn’t feel heavy

excellent conversation

good coffee and selection of tea and juice

For Adventurous Eaters

Truth be told, Eric can’t always help himself in the kitchen. Give him a quiet morning and you might end up with egg clouds instead of scrambled eggs, an orange blossom salad you didn’t know you needed, or mustard-rubbed bacon that changes your whole idea of what bacon can be. Couscous baked eggs. Mango bread. The occasional dish that sounds a little strange on paper and turns out to be the best thing you ate all week.

If that sounds intriguing, tell us. When we reach out before your stay, let us know you’re open to a little culinary adventure, and we’ll happily send a few surprises your way. If it sounds more horrifying than tempting, that’s completely fine too — we’ve got a full rotation of familiar, comforting favorites that never ask you to be brave before 9am.

We Understand Food Allergies

Eric knows firsthand what it’s like to travel with food allergies and spend a trip hunting for something that tastes good and actually agrees with you. That experience shapes how we cook. We take dietary needs seriously.

Vegetarian, high-protein, diabetic-friendly — we’ve got you covered, and we’re always happy to talk through other needs or preferences. The one exception is strict vegan diets, which we’re not currently equipped to accommodate.

Before you arrive, we’ll reach out to ask about any allergies, dietary requirements, and even just plain old likes and dislikes. Hate mushrooms? Can’t stand cilantro? Let us know. We’d rather ask a few questions in advance than watch you push food around your plate. Breakfast should be something you look forward to, not something you have to work around.

So come hungry, curious, and trust that whatever lands on the table has been made with you in mind.

★★★★★

We’re willing to bet you’ll book your second stay just for breakfast. Come for the company, stay for the comfortable digs, but don’t be shocked if the thing you remember most is what was waiting for you at the table each morning. Highly recommend!
